Father announced today that two catechumens will be chrismated into the true Church - one, holy, apostolic, and catholic - on this coming Saturday. As people were coming forward to venerate the Lazarus Icon, a parishioner asked me if I was one of them. When I replied in the affirmative, he told me I was so lucky, to which I replied, "I am very blessed." He then said he would try to be there for the chrismation.
This is typical of what I have found at St. Mary's - friendly, loving people, a great parish with a lot of opportunities to serve the Lord, and . . . best of all . . . a place where I believe I am really called to serve singing in the choir. It has been nothing short of an amazing couple of months as I have gone through all this.
