You know, it's weird, but some months ago I thought one day it might come of use to memorize who is who in that particular icon. That's the only reason I knew. How weird is that?!

It's beautiful and I see St. Seraphim of Sarov on my left and St. John of Kronstadt on my right. Are they the Russian saints?

It's amazing is it not? It's an Icon of the new martyrs and events suffered under Communism in Russia.

Well, I knew who four of them were, and I knew some of the story of another one, but I couldn't think of his name.

I guess I have the blessing of knowing most of the saints, considering that I study the icons so much. I am thinking of writing an icon of ALL of the saints of North America, including the 3 who are not yet recognized but are in the process. I think that will total 15 saints.

That would be awesome!

Who are the ones not yet recognized? I was told about a woman named Olga, a priest's wife, who is likely to be glorified as the first female saint to have shone forth from North America.
