Could a demon in physical form attack a Christian?

Do you believe in ghosts, by any chance? I doubt you do.
You are right, I do not.

Besides, ghosts don't exist, anyway.
Agreed.

Besides, you cannot just dismiss demons.
Why not? They have precisely the same evidence for their existence ghosts have for theirs - none.

That quote is, in effect, worthless in this discussion. Besides, the question is not whether demons exists. Read the topic, please.
Demons cannot attack Christians - or anybody else, for that matter - because they do not exist.

Well you guys do believe in possession....

So expanding upon that, if a person is possessed , it is a physical body for a demon

That possessed person can then walk up to you and ................

Thereby by believing general Christian things, one would be led to believe that yes it is possible

But HazyRigby's reply is definitely worth some thought... seriously
that reminds me of a good movie.
The Fallen. Pretty much went on that thought.

I believe a bad spirit could be in a human body incarnated. There are a few people, though extremely rare, that just give me a bad feeling.
And this 'bad feeling' is all the proof you need that they are possesed by the naughty demons of Satan... right/

And I suppose the thousands of personal encounters by people around the world who don't know each other and can't exactly exchange notes accounts for nothing?
Correct. The human brain is a spectacular at deluding itself. Notice how there is no verifiable data to support the existance of ghosts et al.

Hey Narrowpath777, Googling bout demons prob isnt the best idea. God's Word is terrific though as well as reputable Christian resources. Christians cant be demon-possessed. Only unbelievers can. However, Satan and his demons can oppress us if we allow it. if you want more information, feel free to send me a personal message or message me on yahoo. my nickname is joyfuljuliana87
this would seem to be contradicted by the many christians that go through exorcisms every year. And to my knowledge i know fo no atheists that have ever been possesed. "to be honest i know of no one that has been but christians claim they have and exorcists claim they have too"

There are no such things as ghosts, i stand on that firmly. But there are such things as demons. Hrm........ lemme see.... oh yes! They call them familiar spirits, since they look like people who have lived. But, following this logically and assuming the first two statements are true..... where do we arrive?
Those aren't the ghosts of people, but rather demons trying to distract us from the Truth of Christ....

What those people saw, if they truly saw something, were not human souls/ghosts.

Ah, but you are assuming they are actual Christians and not just people who call themselves Christian. There's a difference between actual belief and faith/commitment and just saying something about yourself. That's just my take on it.

And why would they possess the atheists? If they did that, the atheists might realize the truth about hell.

People...You know little of what you speak...I will tell it now, as written in the Great Tome...
Daemons are the physical manifestation of Chaos, foul servants of powers the horror of which lies beyond the powers of sane description, powers I shudder to name here...but will do so for your enlightenment...
Khorne, the ancient and terrible lord of war, The one who's thirst for blood is never sates, who's hunger for carnage is never satisfied, daemons bearing his aspect are terrible to behold, massive, hornéd, weilding weapons of great power, capible of slaughtering untold millions.
Slaanesh, The vile prince of misdeed and unnatural lusts, Daemons of his power are creatures of terrifying beauty and grace, ensnaring the minds of all who behold them and tempting them in pleasures of indescribable heights of depravity.
Tzeentch: The architect of fate and the changer of ways, master of the very fabric of the Immaterium. daemons of this blasphemous aspect are a horror few survive even a glimpse, For they see all, and weave the nature of reality to suit their unknowable purpose.
Nurgle, Festering god of decay, plague and despair. Daemons of his aspect are of such grotesque horror that even the mightiest quake at the very thought. Bloated, diseased and surrounded by corruption of the most hideous infectiousness, they bring all in their path to rot, putrescence and madness.
Against the onslaught of such daemonic infestation no ordinary man stands even the barest glimmer of a chance, doubly so for he who puts his faith not in the God-Emperor of mankind but in some petty heathen god of nothingness.
Against such powers, Only one force may stand and prevail, The Chamber Militant of the Ordo Mallum. The Grey Knights. But few are these Astartes among Astartes, and the galaxy is a big place...

Thought begets Heresy. An open mind is like a fortress with it's gates left unbarred and unguarded.

Amen, brother. Take up your rod and staff, your armor and psycannon, and go forth.

Spiritus dominatus,
Domine, libra nos,
From the lightning and the tempest,
Our Emperor deliver us.

Oh, now you're just being sarcastic. :p I see little room for this thread to continue if you're going to start stuff like that... not to mention we're running out of stuff to argue if we're resorting to stuff like this.
My armour is contempt, a bulwark against the terror, you make jest of that which you do not know!!1!!!1!
