I'm a 75% vegetarian. I don't buy meat or keep any in my house and if I can, I avoid eating it but if someone is making me dinner, I will not be rude and turn it down. My mom and my grandma in particular seem to be very hurt if all I eat are veggies or bread so I attempt to be an "in the closet" vegetarian around them
But I grew up in a VERY carnivore centric family so the majority of the meals I used to cook involve meat. Its been interesting this past year trying to adapt all my recipes into non-meat stuff.
Truthfully, my grandma and my mom made sure that I am an excellent cook but my preferred method of cooking involves cereal and milk. I hate putting effort into food. So being a vegetarian was a natural transition since it involves very easy prep and not much time.
