Well, it is very different than Christianity. We do not base our life on death. God gives us promise of a life eternal. You can live your life to the fullest living for God. I don't care for the fatalist basis myself because I think it is a pack of lies, and please don't take it personally.

Music doesnt change anything.

Im sure listening to Death/Black metal does have a bit to do with it[ I listen to my share of Heavy/Death/Black metal] . But I leave music aside when im dealing with religion like this. Just because your christian doesnt mean you gotta listen to backstreet boys.

Well, I'll just share with you what I know in MY life to be true concerning God. As a six year old, I remember my first experience with healing. I was terribly sick with the flu or something and I remember my father,who was a minister, layed his hands on me and prayed. I remember actually feeling the pain of my body leaving. That was convincing. Another convincing moment was when my dad was rushed to the hospital because his stomach tore and all of the acid poured out into his body and killed him. My brother, sister and I prayed in the name of Jesus, that he would not die(we didn't know he was clinically dead). He literally came back to life. The doctors were puzzled. My mother told me they were in the process of writing info down on his death certificate.

Those are just two of the instances that let me know God is active with those who SEEK him. As far as your question, I would actually urge you to speak with God and be honest with him. If you would just ACKNOWLEDGE the fact that you are in need of him(Jesus, the son) because you are a sinner by nature as we all are, then I know he'll make his presence known to you somehow.

Although Christ reveals Himself to each of us in very individual ways, we all are saved in only one way ... through Confession to others of our Acceptance and Belief in Jesus Christ. But Carnal, if you aren't willing to believe, you can't very well expect any results, right? I would say that this is the key to getting the same belief as us ... willingness.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come against the work of Satan in 'CarnelReligion's' life. Under the blood of the Lamb of God I bind and tear down every work of darkness that has set itself up as a stronghold against your truth in his life. Lord God, even now, I pray that you will place your hedge of thorns around him that no evil may go out from Him, and no evil may come in to touch him. Write your law upon his heart, that he may be your child and that you may be his God. Reveal yourself to him, Lord Jesus, in a way in which he will clearly and willingly understand and receive.

Father, I pray that he will recognize that he is a sinner, and without you, Lord God, his is lost, and without hope. Realizing that "There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." {Romans 3:23} I pray he will recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross because of His love for him, and with His own blood, he has saved him from sin. Accepting that "God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His blood." {Romans 3:25} And Father, just as each one of us has done, some even here in this thread, help him to recognize that now he needs to tell somebody that he believes in Jesus and what He did. Because as your word says, "If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." {Romans 10:9}

GOD, we know that you are faithful and true. You have said in your word, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin." {2 Chronicles 7:14} "And whoever comes to me I will never drive away." {John 6:37} ... to all that received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God ... children born of God. {John 1:12-13}

Lord God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I claim 'CarnalReligion' for your kingdom. Because your word in Isaiah 55:11 proclaims ... "so is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, it will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." I welcome him as a brother in Christ, trusting that you will make it so.

Thank you God for your saving grace. Thank you for the confidence we can have in you, the only living God. Amen.
