Today was another day where I was less-than-content with my singleness. I wish God would just take this urge for a spouse from me altogether. I feel like a mouse in a cage with someone waving a piece of cheese in front of me.

I keep on praying that God will bring me the godly, childfree mate that I've been yearning for for--let's see--three years now and still nothing. It's made all the worse by the fact that I'm still a virgin and am about to turn 34 in a few months. You'd think that I'd be rewarded for holding out that long, but I dunno. It's getting to the point where I keep having thoughts of hiring an escort and then taking my own life afterwards (yes, it's getting bad). Keep me in your prayers--maybe He'll listen to you guys.

The pre tribulational rapture could happen soon, so trust Jesus Christ to not only have you ready to go but keep your virginity as well.

Who knows? Maybe you are one of these few mentioned below.

I am 49 and still a virgin, however, I have lied in the past and so I am not sure if I will be of this select group chosen to be in His choir in Heaven, but I do know that there are more of the elect than that.

I have repented of lying even though I am continually tempted to pull a practial joke on April Fool's Day, but I trust Him as my Good Shepherd to purge me from secret faults and to make the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart acceptable in His sight for He is my Rock & My Redeemer.

So maybe you &I shall be of that select few in the choir since He is the One that will present us faultless as we follow Him by faith to not let the word of truth depart from our mouths and to keep the foot of pride away from us.

There is alot I am entrusting Him to do in His work in me as I live by faith in the Son of God to do run that race as the author & finisher of my faith.

As I said in another forum, I've recently made an effort to not say for sure if I will be single and a V for the rest of my life, because I feel as though God was telling me that bearing false witness against Him like that wasn't a good idea. But the fact is, I am both single and a V, and I'm very unhappy with it.
