Actually, I feel it is more green privilege or even privilege based on family. I have always felt that if there were any privilege in the justice system it is green privilege more money you have the better you come out which does not always mean that the person is abusing that wealth by the way.

It is always about the rich vs. the poor. Privilege is given, not earned.

The more money someone has whether they earned it or they were born into it the more likely they are to be able to stay out of trouble ( which is not always their own fault ( for lack of a better term.

that too, but my point was for example if someone say was accused of something they either did not do or maybe they did do something but were overcharged if that person has money for a lawyer they are more likely to be able to fight the case because A they have more money for things like experts to prove their case and B they have money to pay a lawyer who will be able to devote more time to their personal case as opposed to have a public defender who may well have well over 100 cases on their case load at any one time. Whereas, a person with a public defender may feel well I do not have the money to fight this case and my lawyer ( whether by force or by choice does not have the time or the resources to devote to my case so I will just enter a plea that may or may not be in my best insterest simply because I fear worse punishment.
