  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can God change consequences? Or make them less-painful?

Is there consequnces for ALL sin? Most times it seems like people just get away with the "sins" they commit.

Sin is like debt. The more one sinned, the deeper one in debt.
And the debt of sin has tiers just like the school grades: A, B, C, etc.
One with too much sinful debt would get F grade. They will go to the Lake of Fire.
People with various amount of sinful debt, get grade from D to A, and will go to different level of Hell.
Believers are saved, their sinful debt are forgiven. They go to Heaven. But they will still pay the price (not debt) of their sins from their bank account in the Heaven. A believer who sinned more, would be poorer in the Heaven.

All the above are measured AFTER the current earthly life. This is the key and it tips the balance off people's mind.
