I dont no maybe the Catholic religion isnt for me. Most of my family is Catholic and I just sometimes feel like I am going to that church to please them. I really feel stupied. I should no where I belong with religion and all by now:sigh: I am just having a bad day!

 :groupray: May the Lord be your peace today. :prayer:
I see that you are getting married soon. Congratulations! What religion is your boyfriend?
Perhaps the two of you can find a different church to meet with if you are not enjoying Christ in your current church. Pray together with him about it and see how the Lord leads the two of you together.

Does he go to the same church that you go to?
If not, perhaps you might like his church better.
If he does go to the same one that you go to, does he enjoy it and feel that it is the best place for the two of you?
I would pray about it with him since your future is going to be with him.
This is not a matter that you can decide on your own since you will be getting married soon - it is something the two of you should pray about together.
I pray that the Lord will guide you and be your faith, peace, hope and joy. :prayer:

I hope you understand what I am about to say. You do not need a religion. I don't care what you have been taught by your priests. God does not care if you are Catholic, Baptist, Pentacostal or whatever. What is important to God is that you have a relationship with His son Jesus Christ. And you can do that in any number of churches or no church at all. God is not restricted to any religious organization. If you don't feel you belong where you have been going then maybe it's God telling you to move on. As you have been told, pray about it and seek His guidance on where you should fellowship. But the important thing to remember is that, if you have given your heart to the Lord, then you are a follower of Jesus Christ and NOT the Catholic church or any other religious organization. Be at peace and know that God has a special place for you and it appears it may not be where you are.

I concur with revrober, God isn't about religion. Yeshua came against religion, with its man made rules and regulations and traditions.
The most important thing is in John 3:3 where Yeshua says "Unless you are born again, you can not ever see the kingdom of God". We need to repent of our sin, and give our life to Him, and follow His ways, not the ways of man. Then we need to find a Bible believing church where He is glorified, and His word is held.

I understand exactly what the OP is going through. I was a non-denominational Christian for the first five years of my Christian walk and then I converted to Catholicism. Since doing so, I have come to a greater realization of all the little rules and regulations that go along with being Catholic. Some of them make sense to me, but some I don't really agree with. I'm in the middle of something of a spiritual upheaval trying to decide if I were right to convert to Catholicism in the first place (obviously I thought it was right at one point) or if I ought to return to my happy non-denominational days. ~sigh~

I use to be catholic and I know how you feel I think its been like 15 years ago since i left that chruch I was kid so I had know choice but to go but my grandma is sill in the catholic faith and its very scary its alot of demonic stuff that goes on their I moved in with my grandma in 2006 for like 6 months and the whole time i was attacked by spirits the whole time until my pastor told me that i needed to get out of their and when I did it left. but just read your bible not the catholic bible but the new king james and you will see alot of the things that the farther at your chruch says is not true are its half truth. if you did not know the catholic chruch is run by saten kingdom. just search Gods word and pray and he will open your eyes to the real truth. God Bless:)
