Confession?

The priest on EWTN said that at the minimum you should go to confession every 3 months. He said they recommend you do an oil change on a car every 3 months so shouldn't you give your soul at least that amount of consideration?

Look at it this way: The pope, monks, and nuns all go to confession more frequently than you and I do. We can think of something to confess

St. Francis de Sales recommends once per week- in his Introduction to the Devout Life.

I go at least once a week-- asI have some seriously entrenched habitual sins that I need the grace to overcome! (yelling at my kids, for example)
