That ink drawing is super smooth! Steady hand indeed.

Well done. Nice job with the frames too.

When in doubt; always, always, turn your eyes to the Lord.
The sketch depicts one of the seraphim pointing a person in heaven to the throne.
Often I myself forget to ask my Jesus for help some times; you have to remember the seraphim and their never ending prayers, I rarely even grace a pack of crackers, but I'd think it wouldn't be a wasted effort to bring people's focus back to Jesus in these trying times, especially our children...

Here is a clay (terra cotta) sculpture done about 17-20 years ago. whne i was teaching high school art. I did this just to demonstrate how to sculpt with clay for the class. I fired and glazed this and have keep it since then. Really my only sculpture work i have done.
That is great! I have never tried sculpture. How hard was it to work with? And with such good results, why not try again?
I guess i have been so involved in learning drawing and painting that just never took time away from that to really try any more sculpture pieces.
Being that i am older i feel more of a time constriction and want to narrow down areas of focus.
That makes perfect sense, and is part of the reason I have not ventured into other mediums as well.
I like the woodwork too.
Outstanding! I like how you positioned his head to the right of center. . .
