Continuing with Post 56:(Tafsirs to come later on)

These statements are made not only by clerics and preachers. Following their lead, public opinion leaders in the Arab world also call the Jews "the descendants of apes and pigs." The image has pervaded the public consciousness, even in child-rearing.

In May 2002, Iqraa, the Saudi-Egyptian satellite television station, which according to its website[7] sets for itself the goals of "highlighting aspects of Arab Islamic culture that inspire respect," "highlighting the true and tolerant picture of Islam and refuting the accusations directed against Islam," and "planting a spirit of mutual understanding and dialogue among members of the nation and opening channels of cultural connection with the cultures of other nations,"

interviewed a three-and-a-half-year-old "real Muslim girl" about Jews. On "The Muslim Woman Magazine" program, the girl was asked whether she liked Jews; she answered, "no." When asked why she didn't like them, she said that Jews were "apes and pigs." "Who said this?" the moderator asked. The girl answered, "Our God." "Where did He say this?" "In the Koran.

You realise that you're just using generalisation after generalisation here, right? Nothing that actually proves a point, just some examples and the implication that this applies to everyone. Some Muslims hate Jews. Some people hate Jews - anti-semitism is still alive and well. Essentially all you're saying here is that Muslims are just like other people.

I'm not a fan of Islam, but it's tiring when people generalise and can't comprehend that others might think differently than they want them to. It takes a lot of arrogance to think like that.

This is especially true right now when Israel is a huge problem for a lot of Arab nations and since Israel = Jews, Jews get the brunt of that anger.

Anyway.. Rationalt... I'm not gonna argue anymore, as I don't like to argue. I explained my position for the benefit of other readers, and I know it to be a valid and accepted position in our tradition and mentioned and promoted by men just as learned as the one to whose site you linked.... actually more learned. No two scholars agree on every last point, and I acknowledge that we have a lot of anti-Semetic people (even among our learned unfortunately), but that does not make their opinions the correct ones Islamically.

I am giving the main stream islamic position from islamic scholars of Muslim countires. The Link i gave is a well sourced article sourcing from Authentic Muslims .

I am not doing any generalization. Most of that was what Muslim Authorities from Islamic countries said. Not my words.

Read the article. It is disturbing and those are NOT My words.

Coming to generalizations; Here is a quote from Allah of Quran:

Quran 3.110 .... Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers.

The above verse is about Christians and Jews.

I would like to see where God says He hates anybody in the Qur'an.

I am surprised that You really don't know.

Some small sample of verses from Quran About Disbelievers.

Quran 7.177 Evil as an example are the folk who denied Our revelations, and were wont to wrong themselves.

Quran 4.056 Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment. Lo! Allah is ever Mighty, Wise.

9.30 And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!

The fight is to establish Islamic rule In Israel. It is not about anything Else.

The Sermons of Muhammad aids them in that.

Sahih Muslim Book 041, Number 6985:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

This Hadith was/is broadcasted In Palestine Area.

You and the other guy just love to quote Al-Munajjid's site, don't you? Look. I know the guy. He lived in the same neighborhood where I grew up... still lives around there, actually. We were in the same Hajj group when I went for Hajj. I've prayed behind him many times, and I've attended many classes given by his wife, even a study of Ibn Taymiyyah's book related to celebrating/imitating non-Muslim customs. I know him, and I know his opinions, and I know his way of thinking regarding these types of things. He's actually a pretty nice guy to talk to, and his Qur'an recitation is one of my favorite ones to listen to, BUT I don't agree with him on his attitude regarding many issues... regarding Jews, for example, I don't agree with his attitude at all. Yes, he is more knowledgeable than I am, but my husband is his equal in the Islamic world in terms of scholarship, and my husband, and many others, sees things differently. Every scholar and student of knowledge is an individual with his own mind, heart and reasoning. Among the higher class of scholars that taught people like my husband and Al-Munajjid there are differences of opinion, and among their class there are differences of opinion, too. I certainly don't agree with my husband on everything either.. there may even be ones where I agree with Munajjid over him, but unless I'm a complete lay person who knows nothing and is not educated, it is my individual responsibility to examine the evidences brought forth by each scholar and examine them to the best of my ability. I don't see myself as having the adequate knowledge to come up with my own personal opinions, nor to assert that one opinion is definitely more substantiated than the other, but I am well-read/informed enough to be able to read the different opinins and proofs presented by scholars on issues and try to follow what appears to me to be more in line with both the letter and spirit of the text/law, and to explain to others why I think that be so to the best of my ability.

Did you know that there are many narrations from the companions from Muhammad (pbuh) that the Muslims would follow in the footsteps of the Children of Israel, step by step? Do you know that there are ahadith saying that Muslms will end up being more divided and astray than the Jews and Christians ever were? I know A LOT of Muslims like to point at Jews and laugh.. haha.. God says they're like that in the Qur'aan... hoo hoo... but guess what? When they do that, they're doing the same things, and in some cases even worse than what the Jews were being reprimanded for. The Jews and Christians were our predescesors in faith... they made mistakes... those mistakes are pointed out so we don't fall in the same ones... unfortunately, many Muslims just go around making the same mistakes and just add making fun of other people for having made the same mistakes as nutty icing to their fruitcake lives.

Anyway... Chava. I'm sorry that your thread got messed up.
Is it because i called your Bluff?.

There are some individuals who like to turn every thread on here into an Islam bashing fiesta.

Oh really ?.I thought the Muslims had an opportunity to prove Misconceptions about islam.Instead you chose personal attack, A classic Muslim tactic to avoid the truth about islam.

Evidence is all over the thread that deception is a tactic Muslims employ while avoiding the Issues.

Anyway.. Rationalt... I'm not gonna argue anymore, as I don't like to argue. I explained my position for the benefit of other readers,

Yes, you have explained That A Muslim Man marrying a Christian or jewish girl is a great example of Islamic Love and chose to remain silent when i pointed out that the Girl will never be Allowed to practice her own religion.

and I know it to be a valid and accepted position in our tradition and mentioned and promoted by men just as learned as the one to whose site you linked.... actually more learned. No two scholars agree on every last point

Now, show me ONE respected Islamic Scholar from Muslim world who says That a Jewish or christian girl married to a Muslim is allowed to practice her religion.

and I acknowledge that we have a lot of anti-Semetic people (even among our learned unfortunately), but that does not make their opinions the correct ones Islamically.,

Anti-Jew is Built in the Islamic scriptures.I have provided evidence from Islamic scriptures (Quran and Hadiths).Instead of refuting the evidence presented you are playing A victim card here;Another Classic Islamist Tactic.

I was never one to colorize the practice, but the point is usually to manipulate events.
did you find it worked any? as in altering events

I know hexes rely mostly on fear. You got to be dumb enough to believe its gonna work on you for it to be successful. The witches told me that.

Sorry I took so long to reply I was busy concreting the shed

It's not guaranteed and it could very well just be coincidence, but yes sometimes I feel it did. Or if not altering events, then making a choice that would have otherwise ended in disaster.

Fear will definitely exaggerate it.
