Who needs a banner that doesn't have one?

I am not working on the powerup icons right now cause there is too much going on in my family right now, but I have time for 'teh bannaz'

We are so beta right now anyway, we can put the icing on the cake the second trial run, right Ryder?

No prob, the site is going up very soon, and it's very raw. I'm just trying to get the game mechanics together so we can start playing, graphics and other 'extras' can go up whenever imho!

I'm not gonna hold anyone to their choices until they've had a chance to peruse the ship stats.

Your ship is definitely good, as far as the game goes it looks like it's shaping up as an excellent mid-ranger. You should have leftover budget for another ship with your choice too!

Hi, Kelly. I would love a banner for the Bismark! How do you put those together? I've done a littler work with Paintshop Pro, but where do you get those images? And how do you put them together so nicely? Very cool. By the way, you should probably just PM the answers to me. I don't want to totally hijack this thread.

Naw, keeping the thread bumped will get more players. I use Photoshop 6.0. I search the web for pics of the actual vessel (not to difficult), find a few I like and resize them and push them a bit (mess with the levels, contrast, brightness, etc), put in secondary layers (flags, more images of the ship, crew) and make them transparent. Then just add the text and give it a few effects (dropshadows, glows, etc).

I'll hook everyone up this weekend.

You guys are gonna need a few 'fictitious' pictures by the end, the axis (if they do well) can develop the Graf Zeppelin aircraft carrier class and the dreaded H-class super-battleships (so named for the only proposed ship, the Hindenburg). Both were started, to some degree, in history, but only in alternate history might you see them!

Hey DC, others will correct me if i'm wrong, but, what is did was go back to page one and select a boat to use. Select one that is listed as not having an admiral... you get to choose if you want to be axis or allies... it should be a good time...
