I may take the Formidable now that RC has given it up for the Duke of York. (I'll make new banners but I'm waiting until the weekend).
I'd just wait a little longer and see how peoples' choices shake down.

Once everyone has chosen a ship and the game gets started, do the players "buy" more ships or stick with that 'un for the game?

[edit]Yeah, 2 days should be fine. Just you wait till I get that Sausage-O-Matic nuke launcher up and running... (muhuhahahahaha! :D)[/edit]

Is it ok if I command the Suffolk?

By the way, the HMS Hood is a battle-cruiser not a heavy cruiser.
This is temporary, and the buttons are the same color as the background *Grrr*, but check this out before you pick.

Starting budget is about 90,000 and a page or so back is some more info.

Buying will be limited after the game starts, basically because you won't earn points like the trove you started with, not fast at any rate. Your starting budget is big. Anyhow you can buy 'command' over NPC and newly produced ships mid-game, if you can afford it. You can change weapons and stuff mid-game too, you just have to be able to afford it and put in to port for a bit.

OK. So you are guaranteed command over your starting ship but have to buy other ships with your large starting budget, right?

No. You use your starting budget to purchase your chosen ship. Then, any left over may be used to purchase other ships (or upgrades).

more targets ;) ... great, thanks Uzi :D

umm, Ryder, are there interest bearing savings accounts available, cause i'd like to lock some of my points away, maybe on a 3 year term, i'd feel better about the impending conflict if i had my financial future taken care of ;)

 Ryder, I used to design websites and site navs for a living. Would you mind if I did up a version of the site? I could really use the practice and I love the subject matter.

PM me with a list of all the sub pages (i.e. buttons) you'd need and I can do em up with mouseovers and everything.

Knock yourself out! There's the ships page, another column for owner/NPC needs to go there, the weapons page, the map page, and an armament page (where what's on what ship goes, tonight or tomorrow that's going up). Either on the ships page or the armaments page I gotta make room for status, like 'under construction', 'engaged in pacific theatre', 'active in atlantic theatre/available', etc... A general rules/gameplay rules page and a combat rules/explanation page are needed, and an alternate history page would round things out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated Kelly, thanks!
I'm good with goofy numbers and game stuff, but not so familiar with websites 'n graphics, you can probably tell! :D
