The LORD has brought me through much pain and misery in my life. Most of it I brought on myself. But my God has strengthened me and delivered me every time.

His trustworthiness is greater than the universe itself. This last trial I needed so that God could teach me that there is nothing that can happen that can destroy me; He is my shield and my buckler and He will deliver me no matter how great the giant that threatens me. I thought I believed that already but really I didn't. I sure do now.

Indeed, as the scripture says - and as Creslaw posted on the previous page.

A passage about the Lord as the Good Shepherd:

For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land. I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land.
