Comforting scriptures for when life hurts.

Brothers and sisters, please pray for me. I have a new job that's really hard and stressful. Thank you, all of you for the wonderful kindness in this thread! These scriptures are wonderful and inspiring!

Praying for you David, and found myself praying Psalm 91 v 12 into your situation:
"..they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone."

Thank God for His Word, The Holy Bible, for the comfort and encouragement it brings. Between the pages of the Bible is truly a blessed place to be, right there in the middle of God's spoken word to man (and woman). Thank God also for giving young people the talent and inspiration to create songs, and sing songs, and the musicians performing in a way that believers can join together in fellowship to glorify God in praise, worship, song, and clapping of hands. Glory to God.
