Soulwings
A true original.
Whew, I'm back after a rather extended absence! Okay, okay, so it was only three days... but still.
Felt like forever!
I just got caught up on other boards and with other stuff online (spent much time speaking with Jarrod
).
Mask - I don't really know what to do about raccoons... they scare me a bit too, especially because they're one of the prime carriers of rabies, at least around here. :-S Thankfully, we haven't had to deal with one - actually, haven't even seen one (alive that is, there are plenty of them as roadkill) - for a few years now.
Sounds like you did have a rather pleasant weekend! I'm glad that you got to spend some time with your hubby, that had to be lovely.
And I hope that the move goes well! Sounds rather exciting, hehe.
What temperature is it there, Mask? and whereabouts in Canada do you live? It's been pretty cold here (I'm in Pennsylvania) but that just means 50s and 60s. So not that bad, but still rather unseasonable. Bleh. I like it when it's in the low 70s and sunny. Just the right temperature.
Jude - Hehe, your last exam is on my birthday!
I wish you luck on it.... perhaps I'll send some superhero birthday dust over to help you do superfantabulously. How does that sound? ;-)
And your degree sounds really cool. What was your favorite part of it? and where do you want to go with it after you graduate from uni?
Tracey - How are you doing?
Oh, and Mask, I have no idea if my goat is pregnant or not. Sarah just said that she looked well fed, but I'm not so sure about that....... but we'll see. Sarah should know what she's talking about, I guess.
Although I've got to admit, it would have been madly exciting (and mysterious!!) if Cal were pregnant.
We leave on Thursday - early morning. We'll probably be driving for an 1+ hours then stop for breakfast somewhere along the way. I'm excited though..... I can't wait to see Jarrod. ;-) Just six days, God willing! Could y'all pray that this trip goes as planned and that nothing bad/unforeseen happens?
/me pours herself a mug of french vanilla coffee, and gets ready to start packing!
