Hey all---i'm semi-new here. just looking for forums/threads that will help me out in my current struggles. i found a coffee shop in another section and i love it! so this one looks good too, although i don't drink coffee oh well.

AWorkInProgress you are well again, praise the Lord, I myself also begin to wonder if I'm completely free from depression, the last week it has been like that anyway. It is great not to cycle all the time. God bless.

Hi all, just stopping in to say hey. I thought I had overcome depression, but it's come back at me again. I'm going to call a psychiatrist to see if maybe I can get a different medicine. I just hope it works.

Hey everybody, nice to see some new faces here.
I need to slow down on the coffee, it makes me wired if I have too much.
But at my new job, it gets made for me often so who am I to say no?
My new job is great, it can be frustrating but in a good way. I'm still only learning, I haven't done any proper work yet.
What's everybody been up to today?
I think I need to do some linear algebra tonight.
Back to work for me.

I had a calculus lesson last night and it actually went quite well. I'm doing Calculus, PreCalculus, Linear Algebra, Theory of Computer Science, C++ and my personal favourite - Logic,this year.

I dropped calc and moved down to discrete math. it's far too easy for me, but it's okay, i guess. i feel kind of dumb for dropping down. besides that i'm in european history, english, german 4, speech and debate, and gym. woohoo! yey for high school!

For anybody on anti-depressants, do you feel worse after taking pain medication?
I had to take something today and I started feeling depressed again after feeling fine since I started my anti-depressants. I'm hoping its the pain medication thats causing it.

Good, uh, morning, everyone.

Not having a good night/morning right now. Really low and frustrated and worried about uni. I just wish that recovery wasn't so freaking hard ... and that I could just give up ... I'm regressing anyway, as far as the ED goes ... and depression, pooh, that's where I am most of the time, although not as bad as I used to be. I don't want things to be like this the rest of my life, but I don't have any hope that they will get better.



How are you all doing?? Can I get you all something to drink? 'Cause everyone knows that a chat over coffee or some other coffee shop drink is always theraputic!

Why are you frustrated, TLB? I hate feeling frustrated... I think it's one of the worst feelings in the world... although the word is rather fun to type out.

Hey Quiddler, nice user name.

I started a new job two weeks ago as a software developer and the work is completely new to me and I'm understanding it most of the time but its just not clicking yet. I know it will take time and my boss is really patient and doesn't expect me to know it right away anyway but its just still frustrating. I'm really loving my job though. Next week I will be more relaxed and not get stressed if I'm battling with a new concept. I know I'll get there.

Hm it's just wondering/worrying over when my fiance and I will get married. The year is still up in the air - we'd planned on 2010, since that's when I will graduate (after switching majors and hopefully adding a minor, I've got an extra year or so). So... just thinking about how soon it could/may be is stressful.

But I'm doing better now. Since it's morning, of course. I've got a nice day ahead of me, and am muchly looking forward to it, for some reason. I don't really know why.

How are you? And anyone else in this thread, as well. It's been awfully quiet lately! I guess not many people with depression favor a coffee shop. *ponders*

/me puts the coffee on to brew, turns the teakettle on, puts some light jazz on, and settles into a comfy armchair with a mugful of raspberry and honey tea to read for awhile.
