CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i'm in the springs as well. I lived in CO from 1987-1995 before this, in Castle Rock (for 6), Denver (1-1/2) and Littleton (6 months).
Just got to the Springs towards the end of last month. We've been waiting to get back here and retire here. Love it here!

Durango here. Love this town. Big college town with lots of younger crowd.Very Cool. I lived in Mesa County and Ft Collins area awhile ago but have been all over the past 4 years. I came down here for Thanksgiving and have decided to move back to this cold but enchanting state. Don't hate me I'm from Arizona.

I don't live in Colorado, but I love the state. I have family there, too, in Aurora. I've yet to climb the mountains there, but I plan on doing so one day.
