I've heard god and bad things about this movie. When I saw the trailor in theatres, I thought it was for Mothra vs Godzilla. but now I know its not.

whats the movie about? Monsters? Terrorist attack? Nuclear holocaust?

I dont even know!

also, the movie is calle Cloverfield. not clovefield....ick...

Oh you do see the monster many times, its quick glipmpses at first then as the movie goes on you see more of it revealed, this is what matt reeves and abrams had said in some interviews ive seen. Ive been obsessed with this movie. Theres a review on AICN about it, and its apperently as amazing as its being hyped up to be. AICN isnt always accurate but this review is legit, and im even more excited now, only 7 more days i cant wait!!!!

Paramount pictures and Myspace had a contest for the fans on the Cloverfield Myspace page. You could send an RSVP to "Robs party", which is frequently referenced in the movie trailers. The prize, is that you get to go to a party with the cast and crew in New York, where they're having other prizes that they're keeping quiet about. I entered, not thinking much about it and i won. So i'm off to New York on Wednesday.

The party is this Thursday night, a day before the official release. The cast and Abrams are going to be there. I'm allowed to take pictures and post them. Should be an awesome time.

But yes, this movie is going to rock.

I just came back from seeing the midnight premiere of Cloverfield. WOW! It was intense and amazing. Go see it now!

I was a bit dissapointed that big C wasn't the star but the Cloverfield monster wasn't half bad. Overall the movie is pretty awesome. A little too much drama and not enough running for your life in parts, but not enough to kill it.

Hud really adds alot to the movie. Maybe it's because I love Caboose from Red VS Blue, but I kept thinking "If Blood Gulch was ever attacked by a giant monster, and Caboose had a camera, you'd have Cloverfield."

You know there's going to be a sequal. Prolly on a larger scale and of the aftermath.

I saw it too, very first show in the area. Amazing movie. I hope there is a sequel i cant get enough of it.

That was a great movie, it had a few flaws but nothing major.

I just got back from seeing it, and I thought it was a really really good movie.

My favorite thing they did was how realistic the party was, what with drama and all. WHen they go outside to talk about Rob and Beth and stuff, I had totally forgotten why I was seeing cloverfield, I was so into what was going on. Then there was an explosion and I was like "oohh yeah." Really good movie.

Plus Rob's last name is Hawkins, which is my last name, so it's essentially like I was the hero of the movie.

I saw the movie on sat and it was good i liked it! did anyone stay at the end of the credits? they shut off the movie i checked on IMBD and it says there is a audio tape saying help me or it's still alive

I didnt like it. Sure, it was well done, but it was really really not satisfying at all. You dont find out anything.

^ yes but i like it like that it leaves the rest to the audience and plus the movie follows a camera of a group of ppl so it wouldn't make sense for the movie to tell you everything (you see whatever they saw and experienced)
