I'm not into sci-fi or disaster films at all, which is why I haven't seen it yet, however, I'm buying it this week for my cousin's brithday. He's absolutely nuts about it and swears I'll love it if I watch it, lol. Anyway...I've heard mixed reviews of the movie so, I really don't know what to think. I guess I'll just have to watch it...

Sure it did, they destroyed Manhatten but the monster probably survived. Additionally the video was found.
