I have been voting Democratic since the 1990s and I have had it. There is no way I am going to vote for the Walmart-Goldman-Sachs candidate. Campaigns are funded by donors and the politicians work for them. They do not work for us.
Do you want the system to change? We are not going to get results by waiting for corporate shills in the legislature to change campaign finance laws.
Bernie's campaign is different but he is not going to win. Even if he did, he would still be working with a deeply corrupt system, and his agenda would lose. A declared Socialist would galvanize the Right, give them majorities, and they would oppose him constantly and shut him down completely.
They will be able to do this because Republicans have better turnout than the Democrats. Conservatives have something to fight against: government overreach, and they have a political party. Progressives do not have a party that will fight against the power of corporations. Hillary is owned by those people. Let her lose.
I totally agree with this. If Hillary gets the nomination, then I will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the corporations and wealthy have as much taken over the Democratic Party as they have the GOP and that the party no longer represents the poor, the working class, and the middle class. I will either become an Independent or join the Green Party (Ii have done quite a bit of research on the party and agree with most of their views).
