I,m not really sure what comes under the heading, "Science"

For example, it is not unusual for someone to say, "Picking mushrooms is a whole science."

I realize we are where we are today much because of science, and mistakes, accidents.
stumbling across something.


But it may be better if seen as a scientific explanation and a "spirital" explanation.
Or different worlds but same planet.
It is thought by some that, at the end of these Days/era/age Before going over into the next, that, Science and Torah will converge.

I think it's the other way around.
The religious right rejected the science (like they do) and the GOP's political ideology to kiss their butts for the votes (like they do).

Fear and loathing are powerful forces that drive the fight or flight instinct.
How that force gets directed toward self &/or others, is a separate question... think of psychology as roughly analogous to hydraulics to get a picture of how form and function come together.

It doesn't make sense they would be, except unconsciously so... and that may be because even though biological evolution has some problems with it, the concept of evolving is within reason, an obviously valid construct.

Except Social Darwinism isn't really about evolving it is about survival of the fittest and the concept that those who on the top or bottom of the social-economic scale deserve to be there.

It hasn't. Climate Change was a term invented by the political right in order to avoid the more ominous sounding Global Warming. Eventually people seemed to accept it as a euphemism for the same thing. The possibility of the Global Cooling is a something proposed by only a small minority of scientists. If the polar ice caps melt too quickly it is possible that cold water suddenly flowing into the Atlantic could stop the jet stream from flowing creating another Younger Dryas Event, but that would likely be temporary and causing a colder climate in Europe and West Asia but not effect global climate as a whole.

Then why do the alarmists use the term for absolutely everything now? Cold winters, warm winters, floods. droughts, tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires, etc etc is now always due to the mythical climate change!

And there is no proof that any of the wild and wacky predictions that you love to throw out are happening or will happen.
