Yet, since scripture interprets scripture, when Genesis 1 says that In the beginning ELOHM, (PLURAL name for God, NOT A SINGULAR NAME FOR GOD), created... and said let US (plural, not singular) make man in OUR image, it’s obvious that God was with God, at creation, per John 1:1 and it’s account that IN THE BEGINNING the word WAS God, and was WITH God.very! John 1:1, is speaking of the "eternal" relationship between the First and Second Persons in the Holy Trinity. Nothing about actual Creation is mentioned till verse 3, "all things were made by Him..."
Creation is absolutely mentioned, when it (John 1:1) starts with the same exact words from the Genesis creation account - IN THE BEGINNING...very! That’s another discussion- that every time God in human form appears in the OT, it’s Jesus, who as God, can transcend time.Debatable, since the Luke genealogy says Adam too was the son of God.
The Father gave everything to the Son. The Son is the Lord of heaven and earth.Well, my point is that God the Father owns all things.
In Heb. 1:2 we learn that God the Father has appointed Christ the heir of all things.

What about the other name of God used in the Genesis account?Genesis 1:1 begins by the words, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth". The word "God" in Hebrew, is "Elohim", which is masculine in gender, and plural in number.
I see Jesus as front and center in all things. Everything was given to the Son. The Son (the Word) is Lord of heaven and earth.John said that there are three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these three are one.
I heard it put this way in construction terms, concerning not only creation but everything willed by the Godhead.
The Father is the owner, He officiates, the Son is the architect that draws the plans, the Holy Spirit is the contractor that carries out the plan.
All three are one God who agree on everything and work together to bring about everything.
I agree the Godhead is plural, God the Father and God the Son.
"Jesus Christ is Creator WITH The Father"
Do you think that ◄ Colossians 1:15-16 ► NIV should read?
15The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For in him, with his Father, all things were created:
Yes there is the plural usage in Genesis 1:26. However in the second creation of man Genesis 2 15-19, there is no "us" or "our." Genesis 1:26 is the only place in the Bible that "us" and "our" is used.
"Humans are made in the "image of God" And the heavenly hosts are not?
Were Angels Created in the Image of God?
Do you think that Genesis 1:1 should read:
1In the beginning the Holy Trinity created the heavens and the earth.
may I ask what "Christian" you actually are? are you "Jesus ONLY"?
What is a Jesus-only Christian?
What about the other name of God used in the Genesis account?
The tetragrammaton, YHWH.
Creation is absolutely mentioned, when it (John 1:1) starts with the same exact words from the Genesis creation account - IN THE BEGINNING...
Can’t spin that fact, try as you might.

You mentioned Elohim but not YHWH.what about it? It is masculine, singular. Each Person of the Godhead is called YAHWEH in the Holy Bible.
You mentioned Elohim but not YHWH.
YHWH is the sacred name of God.
The word Elohim occurs more than 2500 times in the Hebrew Bible, with meanings ranging from "gods" in a general sense (as in Exodus 12:12, where it describes "the gods of Egypt"), to specific gods (e.g., 1 Kings 11:33, where it describes Chemosh "the god of Moab", or the frequent references to Yahweh as the "elohim" of Israel), to demons, seraphim, and other supernatural beings (wikipedia, Elohim)
We were created in the image of the Creator and here is what the Creator looks like.so what do you make of Genesis 1:26?
Then God (plural) said, “Let US (plural) make man in OUR (plural) image, according to OUR (plural) likeness; let them

Revelation 1:14-15
His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters.
The Father is invisible and has never been seen. You can only know of the Father if you know Jesus.
so, by your own argument, since Genesis 1:1 is what John 1:1 is saying, the plurality of "Elohim" does not inculde the Holy Spirit, Who is not mentioned anywhere in the opening Chapter of John's Gospel! So the US and OUR of Genesis does not include the Holy Spirit, as John 1:1, which according to your reasoning, is the same as Genesis 1:1, does not mention the Holy Spirit!!!

Yes it does.Scripture doesn’t say the third person of the trinity created the world, or mankind
Here He is before the crucifixion. The identity and description are identical. That’s a description of the risen Christ you gave. He didn’t have a body yet, at creation.
The Father and the Holy Spirit have never been seen, for they are invisible. Jesus on the other hand we saw, we heard and we touched Him.God is a spirit, and has no body
