Civ 4 or Civ 5 (or Civ x)

Hey everyone.

For those that like the series, which is their favourite?

I love Civ5 but occasionally play Civ4 too. I think the combat is that little bit more tactical in 5 as you have to think about unit placement a lot more (no stacks of death).

I really want to play Rising Tide when it's on offer too.

I barely touched Civ 4 but I do love Civ 5. I also have CivBE and that is pretty good with Rising Tide expansion, but doesn't hold my interest as much as Civ 5.

I played CIV III, skipped CIV IV, then played CIV V heavily. All of them have been great, but overall, I'd say CIV V takes the cake. It's easy to learn, yet deep and well-paced.
