I know! They get so annoying once your b-day's up.

I don't think we have a Barnes & Noble... We do have Borders, though. Like... 3. And it's the only place I know where I can get manga.

We had a place called Media Play which I fell in love with ! I mean they had so much anime and manga it was heaven...now all I have it Waldenbooks (ahem, borders, sorry) and Best Buy for Anime, and Barnes n Nobel, which ours doesn't have a good selection at all. And then Hot Topic which carries SOME anime clothes and stuff.

Oooh, I love Hot Topic. It's like an evil heaven for me in there.

The only thing we have to buy manga is Borders. Then, if you want anime, it's Borders and Suncoast, unless you're willing to rent it. Sometimes Hot Topic too, but as you said, it's mostly clothes.

Sometimes I feel this island could really improve... if only I was their leader...

Waldenbooks is owned by Borders, actually.

At least where I am (West-Central Florida), Borders has a far better selection of manga than Barnes and Noble does.

That completely depends on what you're looking for. iTunes does have some J-Pop and J-Rock artists.

The other alternative would be to order from the Japanese iTunes storefront, as I'm sure they would have a lot of anime music, but that's rather complicated - it requires a Japanese iTunes Gift Certificate and a Japanese mailing address - this would be the same for any other country's storefront that you're not native to as well. Of course, the Japanese storefront still uses English for all the critical functions, and for organizing the music itself. Titles and artist names are a mixed bag, though - some in English/Romaji and some in Japanese.

It would probably be less hasslesome to order the CDs from CDJapan, but that's just like ordering stuff from Amazon or whatnot.

Hey, since you make AMV's I would love you forever if you did an AMV for Full Metal Alchemist to the song Wings of a Butterfly by HIM, everytime I hear that song I think of FMA....

but that was just me being retarded and what not.

Not much that I can think of. One album from Dir en Grey, I think move is in there, there's a couple others. It's not much, like I said, and I'm not really in a position to check since I can't use iTunes' search function anymore (some problem with Quicktime that causes a fatal error).

Well, I don't know when I would get the chance to do that, especially since my sister doesn't have all the FMA DVDs yet. But if I can get around to it, I'll let you know.

Better safe than sorry kind of thing, since I don't know what scenes I'd feel like using. If I have all the DVDs at my disposal, that's one less thing to worry about. From the lyrics, I can imagine I'd need the second half of the series anyway, which we don't have yet.
