  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This shows that God, indeed, has both a sense of humor and a great sense of color and design. These are blue and yellow Christmas tree worms.

One could also conclude that God wants us to celebrate Christmas!

Here is one way to display your apprciation -

You know...I used to do that for a living, as a manicurist (nail sculpturist). Do airbrushng and painting (by hand) various murals on womens nails way back.

Weird I suppose, but sorta fun (and challenging) to work out small details on such a tiny surface. You'd get some real crazy (far out requests) thats for sure.

This thread got me thinking...

Question 1) What if Ashrah poles were taken by secular society and made as a decoration for a secular holiday, with secular beliefs behind it? The pole itself would represent national unity(of a country) instead of a goddess, for example. To top it off, the people who use it for this secular holiday would not be jews, so they would not be bound by The Law that God instituted with the Israelites. What say you?

I say, do poles frighten you? Most streets are full of 'em! Light poles, power poles, traffic poles, and many more. If they scare you you need to move to Europe where they have underground power in many places :p:p:p
