I am a Mennonite and I own several rifles. I personally didn't run out and buy one because of the current administration. I have owned rifles nearly my entire life. owning a rifle is like owning any other tool; you have to use it responsibly

See, I for one would rather be killed by someone with a gun then be in a gun fight.

I'm not really sure where a gun fight would occur anyways... Are you speaking of during a crime and one defending one's self or during martial law being instituted?

I think the only reason someone might use a gun on me, a woman, would be to rape me and so yes in that situation, they would be getting close enough to use mace. If they're robbing me, then I would definitly give them what they wanted and not even think about using a gun or mace.

In what I mean by value, I guess I mean is that it has more significance then to be used for hunting animals (as a tool), but more for self-protection, ect, and to place a lot of value and importance on it for that reason.
