Thank you.PaladinValer said:Shawn, you don't seem to get it; calling anyone a moron is just immature and so is bashing their beliefs. I don't agree with Mormon doctrine, but I'm not going to call it moronic, stupid, etc., in a Mormon's company. Why? Because its rude, childish, and doesn't produce the fruits that God expects us to.
When I was a kid, my family was church going, at least up until I was about 7 years old. Then suddenly, my parents stopped going to church and wouldn't let us go either. I still don't know why, I've asked my dad a few times and he never likes to talk about it but he gets very upset whenever I or anyone else talks about God. Anyway, so I never really had much formal Christian upbringing, but I remained curious about it as I grew up. I read the bible alot, God was a topic often on my mind even though I wasn't saved at the time and I was a pretty bad teenager. On Christmas Eve 1993, age 22, I accepted Christ as my Saviour. No real outside influence just my own curiousity that led me to asking more questions that led me to belief. It hasn't always been easy but I have no regrets.feral said:How old were you when you made the decision to become a Christian?
