How old were you when you made the decision to become a Christian?

Twenty-three, on a boat in the middle of the Carribean.

What factors influenced you?

Why is a thread asking for each Christian's anecdote of how they began their path
in the Non-Christian section?

I would assume because a non-christian originally asked the question. It should probably be in Christian apologetics, but it's here now so what's done is done.
