Hey guys, I am looking into this topic because I am looking into whether christians, hindus and muslims all pray to the same god? Christians maintain that since hindus pray to idols their god is not the christian god but hindus maintain that when christians pray to "saints" statues isn't that praying to idols too?

Christians, Muslims, and Hindus do not believe in the same God. Muslims believe that Muhammad is a prophet, Christians do not. Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified, Christians do. Muslims do not believe that Christ is God, (most) Christians do.

Hinduism is relatively flexible in its theology. It has a very large pantheon of gods and goddesses and one is free to worship any or all of them and even add to them other gods as they see fit. Thus, many Hindus have added Jesus Christ to their list of gods, even though Christ Himself claims singular authority.
