It is one thing to be convince you "should" keep it as a personal choice, but another to advocate it is a salvic thing and demand others keep it. For the sake of debate here the "optional" keeping of it lands on deaf ears.
Some claim that all christians are commanded by God to keep the seventh day holy. That is not true.
Jesus is my sabbath rest and so I honor him instead of a day (be it Saturday or Sunday)
Some say that Yeshua was right "the Sabbath was made for Man" and not the Jews. Do you think it was a strong message for every man.. or just the Jews? Some chaps in this forum argue that the seventh day sabbath is a universal commandment intended for all mankind and obligatory upon all christians; some will tell you that a christian who does not "remember the sabbath day to keep it holy" is deliberately sinning and is in danger of condemnation when God judges the works of all men (and women) on the last day.

If one is speaking to an audience of Jews and says "man" then it is appropriate as the audience is.... men AND Jews. Let's face it Jesus himself said he was sent ONLY to Israel and thus the "man" would be.... Israel. Some say that Yeshua was right "the Sabbath was made for Man" and not the Jews. Exactly.... I've asked over and over for ANY author of the New Testament to back this claim that the Sabbath was commanded of ANYONE but Israel. In honesty we don't even see the Sabbath commanded to be kept by even the Jews in the New Testament. The only way one can do so is to associate it in with the word "commandments" and infer it as there. It is essentially an argument from silence for the purpose of debate there is nobody speaking of it directly.Christians are not commanded to observe the seventh day.

Twist what Jesus said to your own liking. Some say that Yeshua was right "the Sabbath was made for Man" and not the Jews. Do you think it was a strong message for every man.. or just the Jews?

maco will say that all scriptures are inspired while posting only partial truths. You speak of outsiders who have "accepted his covenant", which at the time was the old covenant. This may very well have been true for the old covenant, but there is a new covenant now. You seem to be the willfully blind one.
Talking about yourself again I see. There is no help for those who choose to be willfully blind.
Isaiah 56:1-8
Be just and fair to all, the Lord God says. Do whats right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you. Blessed is the man who refuses to work during my Sabbath days of rest, but honors them; and blessed is the man who checks himself from doing wrong. And my blessings are for Gentiles, too, when they accept the Lord; dont let them think that I will make them second-class citizens. And this is for the eunuchs too. They can be as much mine as anyone. For I say this to the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths holy, who choose the things that please me and obey my laws: I will give themin my house, within my wallsa name far greater than the honor they would receive from having sons and daughters. For the name that I will give them is an everlasting one; it will never disappear. As for the Gentiles, the outsiders who join the people of the Lord and serve him and love his name, who are his servants and dont desecrate the Sabbath, and have accepted his covenant and promises, I will bring them also to my holy mountain of Jerusalem and make them full of joy within my House of Prayer. I will accept their sacrifices and offerings, for my Temple shall be called A House of Prayer for All People! For the Lord God who brings back the outcasts of Israel says: I will bring others, too, besides my people Israel.
Didn't you read my post at ALL? I said NEW TESTAMENT.. and you post from the OLD TESTAMENT to me?There is no help for those who choose to be willfully blind.

The time has come, a fact's a fact, there's no demand to keep the seventh day.
How can you demand seventh day observance when our covenant is new?
How and you demand we come under the law?
In Christ we're free, not from law of every kind, but from observing the law to gain or maintain approval from God.
We don't keen the seventh day because it is a type and Christ is the anti-type.
Christ is our sabbath rest and our religion and our God.
Christians cannot be subject to the law again, no without denying the Lord who bought them with his own blood.
Revelation.... Here are the saints... "Worship Him who created Heaven and Earth"... and that was an angel crying with a loud voice... Can you hear it speaking to you? That does not mean do your own thing and call it "worship" just because a congregation does it, says it is so. God is to be obeyed not man.Didn't you read my post at ALL?
