I have a group set up here for members of the forum who have Trichotillomania. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you the link.

I've been afflicted with Trichotillomania since I was 11 years old, so, for 17 years now, and I've been totally bald since I was thirteen.

This is a support group more than anything else. I ran across other Christian groups online that basically believed that if you had enough faith then God WOULD heal you, no questions asked. I have enough faith, I have prayed, just like Paul that this thorn in my flesh would leave me, and received the answer that Paul did. While I recognize that God may choose to heal some, others he means to live on his grace.

Hi! I'm a newbie and can't PM you but can you just write the name of the link but not post an actual link? I won't be able to read it if it's posted as a link. I, too, have trich. I had an "episode" when I was about 6 and was "trich free" until about 4 years ago. I am looking for Christian support, encouragement, advice, etc. Currently I am on 50mg Zoloft to control the compulsions but do not see where it is working; at least not this dosage.
