What should I do about my crush, I won't let myself date him. My heart and mind are in conflict and I know the right thing to do (not act on this crush), it just seems so impossible. Anyone have advice or been in this situation before?

Pray and ask God for discernment and ask Him "if this is to be, let me know. But guide me and protect me, please", along with the rest of your prayer. Read Proverbs 3:1-8.

I'm in this situation. Some guidelines that help me are:

1) I don't want to start something that's not going to last with this boy
2) I don't want to do or start anything that his future wife would not approve of
3) Don't do anything to him that I wouldn't want done to my future husband (and yes that includes 'deep', long, private conversations... those are probably the worse)
