Amen to that brother. I think people forget that just because a country allows free speech doesn't mean that a business has to permit it.Only really addressing this point, but you've actually got no real freedom of speech in a private forum, your rights to post in this forum are fully controlled by the owner of the forum.
CaDan made a thread in GA asking what we would like to see from the new take-over. He is helping to shape the future.
Basically we told them to leave us alone!

God help us all if lawyers can think they can shape our future... hopefully you are mistaken
Lawyers are like cops. Some (lots?) of folks seem to not like them/not want them around . . . till you need one. LOLGod help us all if lawyers can think they can shape our future... hopefully you are mistaken
That would be the right thing to do, but I doubt it. Some seem to be too enamored with being "on staff."Have all current staff and administers done the traditional thing of tendering their resignation to the new CEO, and then letting him decide who he wants to retain or not?
The old fresh slate trick, y'know.
I hear Steve's looking to come back on staff.
He'd have my support. (Skripper dons flame-proof suit)
LOL! Just kidding, Steve. Saw you in the thread.
You're kidding right the ACLU would love this place. If you really feel as though your rights have been violated, I'm sure the ACLU would LOVE to help you take down Christian Forums.
Use the brain God gave you
Actually, I told him I'd understand if he wanted me to step down. Then he asked me and MNPhysicist to be his advisors.Have all current staff and administers done the traditional thing of tendering their resignation to the new CEO, and then letting him decide who he wants to retain or not?

Same here... I was "hired" only 2 days before the CEO change was announced. I contacted my superior at the time (MNPhysicist), and stated that I would understand completely if there was no place for me, especially given my "newness". I was then asked to accept the position of Asst. Policy Manager, which obviously I did.Actually, I told him I'd understand if he wanted me to step down. I don't think it is particularly important for anyone else to answer this, as Lee has made no indication that he'd like to make sweeping changes to staff.
