Hi everyone. I just got "adopted" a few days ago by a beautiful siamese. He's a great guy and not at all agressive. He is laid back and very loving. Here's his picture.

Hi!

We had a dog for 10 years before my husband gave in and said we could have a cat too. Jamara then joined the family, she is so soppy. She loves to be picked up and cuddled like a baby and she definitely rules the roost as far as the dog is concerned. She's balck and sleek and gloriously beautiful.
My mother just recently lost her cat and after 30 continuous years of having cats decided not to have anymore- for about two weeks. She now has 2 mad kittens called Troy and Jason- both Siamese. My children adore them. Here are a couple of pics..

Thanks KristiAnn!

I had pretty much decided not to have another cat after my last one died. I held out for a month and then this one just showed up on my porch. I have advetised and no one claimed him so he's all mine! Never could figure out why people dump animals. Seems to me if you want a pet you need to consider that it's a long term arrangement and decide accordingly. Oh well, anothers loss is definatly mine and the cats gain.

You're so welcome Kelco

I am so sorry your kitty died :( , God gave you another as a Gift!

God gave me Snowy when I was sad and lonley, I didn't even really ask for him either, he just came into the apartment one night after following my room-mate. He attached himself to me, the first night he curled up right beside me while I was sleeping on the couch, that night he adopted me and I him. That was when he was six months old back in Octorber 2003. :D

I don't understand people who say that cats are snobs, independant and cold.... Cats are very very affectionate and are faithful and friendly just as much as dogs are. My cat continually wants affection and gives plenty. He's the most sweetest and adorable creature! He always comes running to us for cuddles and affection! There are even times when he follows me everywhere in the appartment! :D

Kelco and Kristi, your stories move me! God really did send you your cat as a gift!

Our cat comes from a litter of three kittens from a friend. I thank Jesus for my cat regularly. He's one of the most beautiful gifts God ever gave me (us - hubby and I). He came at a time in our life which was most difficult. What comfort he brang and still brings! What amazes me is how our cat matches our personality. He is somehow like us.

Thank you Jesus for our beautiful cats!

Jamara's just woken up and gone out. It's a dry night and she'll be out for a bit doing whatever she does in the night!! She's got her own personal enterance and will come back in around midnight.
My mother's two, Jason and Troy, are proving a handful. They smashed a whole lot of ornaments last week, while playing catch on the mantlepiece and this week knocked over a lamp and broke it. They're forever giving my poor mother frights by jumping up to high places, getting themselves locked in bathrooms and generally providing daily entertainment for all the family.
Occasionally, they sleep..
...but not often!!
And they both loved to be loved and cuddled!

I'll be gone all day tomorrow and hubby and I will even sleep at one of his cousin's tomorrow night, so my poor little kitty cat will be alone all day and all night... I worry so much when we leave him alone like that. He needs so much affection, attention and cuddles. He gets so lonely and he doesn't eat much. Plus I worry that he'll hurt himself... I pray he will be alright. :crossrc:

If you're still taking new members, count me in! I have three cats- Ricky, Morty and Brady. Ricky will soon be 9 and I've had him since he was so small that he could fit under the doors in our house (not anymore for sure!), Morty and Brady are each about two years old. All three cats like to ride on the prow of our pedal boat in the summer- people drive by and do double takes when they see them out there on the boat with my girls.
