Jesus Christ having suffered on the cross and overcoming sin on the cross left his body and was taken to Hell. Did Satan take him to Hell, or was he cast in? Jesus Christ in Hell was both a man and God the Son. God cannot be tempted or die or lie. How did Jesus Christ in the hypostatic union die or taste death? What did it mean for him in relation to the spirits of death? Would this hurt or humiliate him? How did Satan hope to win? How did Jesus rise and crush Satan's head? What was the Father doing at this time? How did the Holy Spirit work in Jesus' time in Hell?

First, Satan doesn't take anyone to hell. We say that Jesus died on the cross and that his spirit descended to the holding place of souls of those who died prior.

Did the Holy Spirit descend with him? I do not know. We believe that Jesus preached to "the souls in prison" during his time there and that after he was reunited with his body and resurrected.
