For someone who apparently wants to teach, you are doing a very good job of alienating those whom you wish to educate.
I don't know about you, but having followed the Gospel readings throughout Great Lent and taken part in as many of the Services through Holy Week as I was able (work commitments prevented me attending all), I have been able to witness the betrayal of Christ our God, His being tried and beaten and mocked, and His crucifixion, death and burial, so the joy of His resurrection is very real to me. There is nothing robotic about declaring with joy that Christ is risen.

I would love to discuss how we are children of the resurrection and how this makes us like angels and children of God...

We must die to the law ourselves so that we might be raised for God, killing our worldly selves to be born new in God...

Jesus went through that so that we can come to God ourselves, you miss the point by focusing on his sacrifice...

He is risen that we might rise, but we shy away from our calling.

I am hoping it's celebrated because Christ is birthed in them, risen in their hearts.

Then they are angels and children of God.

I guess I gotta ask, as someone who identifies as Eastern Orthodox, why would you add these threads to a post about our Paschal greetings, especially given the nature of the Holy Week services? I mean, has it been a while since you have been to a Holy Week and Bright Week cycle?
