I don’t think anyone here is roboticIt is my intention to make sure.
I don't find much value in becoming robotic.

okayMost of humanity are programmed one way or another.
There are few in whom God shines.
You should probably take some time to get to know people before passing such judgements. You only joined the forum yesterday. Most of humanity are programmed one way or another.

I bet your fun at parties
For someone who apparently wants to teach, you are doing a very good job of alienating those whom you wish to educate. You are asking me to overlook years of experience despite responses in this thread showing me that experience probably stands up better than you're suggesting...

I don't know about you, but having followed the Gospel readings throughout Great Lent and taken part in as many of the Services through Holy Week as I was able (work commitments prevented me attending all), I have been able to witness the betrayal of Christ our God, His being tried and beaten and mocked, and His crucifixion, death and burial, so the joy of His resurrection is very real to me. There is nothing robotic about declaring with joy that Christ is risen.
Your focus seems more on what you perceive to be the failings of others than on God.I'm sorry that my focus is God and that cramps your style?

If there is something you want to discuss, please do by starting a thread. You are Orthodox and in the right place. If you feel real serious about whatever topic, the debate sub forum may be more helpful.I mean, I entered the thread merely sharing verses... I didn't really want to interfere but ignoring people is rude.

I guess I gotta ask, as someone who identifies as Eastern Orthodox, why would you add these threads to a post about our Paschal greetings, especially given the nature of the Holy Week services? I mean, has it been a while since you have been to a Holy Week and Bright Week cycle? The verses say all I wanted to say...
I am hoping it's celebrated because Christ is birthed in them, risen in their hearts.
Then they are angels and children of God.
This is the Gospel of the resurrection.
