People saying "God bless you" in ugly ways is not a huge movement of people. Saying "Christ is King" as anti-semitic language certainly does have a movement behind it. That makes all the difference in the world.
A movement? A billion Catholics say Christ is king and do not use that in an anti-Semitic way.
The anti-Christ movement will be subtle, not overt. You fail to see in this instance that Satan's goal is to deceive, not make all-out war. War comes later when there are barely any Christians left in the world. Think Islam is taking over the world. That's more or less how I see the anti-Christ movement. It's not direct... at first... until they hold all the cards.
I see the antichrist movement as subtle influences to change our thinking and acting. Today we can’t say “Christ is king” and what can’t we say tomorrow because somebody says so?

It's a redundant phrase. It does not make logical sense.

Well ...
Posting on a Christian public message board ...
to ask other Christians to "please" don't say "Christ is King" ...
makes absolutely no good sense to me.

I hope you will reconsider your request.
I think it is a misguided one.

Maybe the Catholic church is the problem, then? Maybe the phrase came from Catholicism and is being used in an anti-semitic way? And plenty of Catholics are totally anti-semitic?

Because it is not a Biblical phrase, I am trying to steer people towards using a Biblical phrase instead. Do you really have a problem with that?
Are you against antisemitism dog whistles or against something you consider not to be Biblical? Or maybe even something else, like against Catholic dogmatism? I’m not willing to say “How high?” When you tell me I have to jump.

I did.
But you did not hear.

The argument is as follows:

1) It's not a Biblical phrase.
2) It's a redundant phrase.
3) It's an anti-semitic phrase.

Do I need more reason than that?

I see.

Yeah, right.
And plenty of Catholics are totally anti-semitic?
A few are. But if you want to go there with ‘plenty of Catholics’ you have totally lost me. You have your own anti-Catholic dog whistle going on with trying to stop us from saying Christ is king. The Mexican government tried that and the loud response, even as Catholics were martyred was ‘Viva Christo Rey’.

It is a true phrase and you’re telling me to give it up because a few people are misusing it. Not gonna happen.

When I started this thread, the Catholic church was the furthest thing from my mind. Plenty of Protestants are anti-semitic as well. Nick Fuentes comes to mind, and oh my, is he insufferable.

The problem isn't a Catholic problem. It's an anti-semitic problem, which exists in all corners of Christianity and Islam and the Woke left.

Is something that is redundant really true? "Love is love," comes to mind.

Then focus on anti-Semitism and stop telling Catholics what they shouldn’t say.

I’m gonna end up ignoring you. That statement is woke trail pellets. And so is telling me what I shouldn’t be saying because somebody somewhere misused it.

The phrase is laced with baggage, but you don't care about that because your Catholicism is more important, clearly! It's a redundant phrase. Redundant things are illogical. Never stopped Catholics from anything else, though, so whatever.

It's not just somebody somewhere. I don't care if one goofball says a thing. I care if that goofball becomes mainstream.

The Messiah was to be King of the Jews, a High Priest, and the Prophet. Christ stands for Messiah. So Saying Christ is Christ would actually be better than saying Christ is King because Christ literally has kingdom baked into it and king leaves out priest and prophet.

I don't know about you, but when I saw people like Candace Owens saying, "Christ is King," I knew something was up. We had our inclinations that this phrase has been used in an anti-semitic way for years, but now it is literally smacking us in the face.

Please don't use the phrase "Christ is King." It is a true statement, yes, but it carries with it a lot of baggage. It's somewhat lumped together with Christians Nationalism which has some baggage of it's own. But "Christ is King" has been used in overt ways as anti-semitic language.

Here is one example.

View attachment 364183

So, I say, chose this day who you will serve. Will you be a Biblical Christian and realize Jesus was a Jew? Or will you fall to the dark side and keep saying "Christ is King"?

View attachment 364184

I realize this is controversial, but at some point a line needs to be drawn and I think this is the time the line needs to be drawn.
I must simply disagree to a point with you on this one. I must say Christ is King as I must also say God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth. As for it being misused, that's how the devil works. He has always taken something holy and spent it to a degrading low.

Satan twists what already exists. Satan cannot touch the Holy. The phrase is not a holy phrase as it does not appear once in the Bible.
