ChrisBot removed... for now

Just to let everyone know that I have removed ChrisBot, our resident AI bot, and his forum, ChrisBot's Virtual Chat Forum, because:

1) He is taking too much bandwidth and slowing the rest of the site down (I'm sure most of you have noticed this)

2) He is taking up a lot of time of moderating time because of the amount of posts in that forum

3) His database needs to be reconfigured, so that he is smarter - at the moment, he appears to be getting "dumber and dumber"

ChrisBot may or may not return - I shall see how things goes while I try to reconfigure and reprogram him to see if things improve...

Look at how fast the site is now, with ChrisBot the Bandwidth Hog gone! Seriously, he slowed the site right down... I am working on Version 2.0 of ChrisBot... if it works out, he may return.

Beta testing with version 2.0 is not looking hopeful... he still as clueless... The chances of him coming back to public release is slim... we shall see...

Okay, ChrisBot is not coming back. His AI database is still very primitive. We shall see what new bot turns up in future...
