I've recently started giving blood and the last two times I have my cholesterol has gone from 173 In June to 195 in August.

Should it have increased that much? I know it's not technically high but does it normal for it to move around a lot or is a bad thing that I've jumped up by 22?

It really isn't that high. Your body needs cholesterol to fight off cancer. If you are concerned with cholesterol, take lecithin cap with meals and the enzyme lipase. Lipase is a natural occurring enzyme which breaks down fat and keeeps cholesterol moving in the bloodstream. Lecithin does the same thing. Cholesterol is needed in the blood stream. You just want it to keep moving through. It's the polyunsaturates that stick to arterial walls. Stay away from hydgrogenated fats.

Remember, you need cholesterol for good health. You need saturated fats for good health. Processing destrolys the naturally occurring enzymes in animal fats. Hence, supplement with lecithin and the digestive enzyme lipase when eating animal fats which are actually good for you and needed to fight off cancer.
