Oh, yum!!!!

I'm trying to get serious about working out again and must begin by abstaining from such things.......how good are they?

^_^ This good...

It's so hard not to eat in the winter with the cold and dark. Usually, I opt for soups - warm and comforting. This evening, however, we had Thai - masaman curry. Yum!!!

Oooohhhhh. I love yellow curry and am very close to making it just like the Thai restaurant I frequent. :yum:

I believe my grandmother when she says that spicy foods help you burn more calories, so their calories are cancelled out. Whattaya think? :tutu:

As for the kitty, well there's not much better than chocolate and peanut butter.

I had a little chocolate yesterday. It doesn't take much to satisfy my sweet tooth. I think I have more of a salty tooth than a sweet tooth though. Warm popcorn ... one of my favorite snacks. :yum:
Unn~~ Don't even get me started on salty goodies.
I have had a wicked craving for salt & vinegar chips.

This looks like the right place to put this tidbit of nothingness...lol.

We had lots of ice cream left over from my youngest's birthday party. The girls wanted syrup to also go into their milk, too. So, one wanted chocolate, and the other wanted strawberry, "because it is pink"!!!! So, I buy the syrups, take them home, and we make bowls of ice cream. Turns out the little one did not like the "pink kind" after all!!! So I am thinking, "Ick, we are stuck with this thing of strawberry syrup, and how am I going to use it all?"
Well, no worries. My sons come home over the weekend, and fix ice cream, and lo and behold, they like to make it with both chocolate and strawberry, so it looks like I don't have to worry about it being a wasteful purchase!!!

I haven't met a Thai curry that I haven't liked - red, yellow, green, panang, massaman...

The massaman is awesome though - yams, peanuts, cashews... Mmmmmmmm....:p

Hi all....new to this area. Fab fourties?!!?! Better believe it!!!!

Anyhoo, I've noted the threads on coffee and spas. Wonderful!!!! Enjoy both... But, what about chocolate? :p

Chocolate is purported to have flavanoids that work wonders for the body in small amounts, providing that the cocoa content is high enough. Generally, the healthier chocolate is the more bitter type.

So, who are our chocolate lovers? Do you like milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Do you like your chocolate plain, in a bar, filled, in cookies, ice creams, hot cocoa...? What is your very favorite chocolate? Better yet, do you keep a stash for emergencies? ^_^ Finally, chocolate seems to be a female thing by and large. So, are there any fellows here that actually like chocolate?

Love chocolate - actually crave it at times, but I really work to control that.

I much prefer dark (bittersweet) to milk chocolate. A good quality dark chocolate feels so much better in the mouth - has a purer taste. Dove is a good quality chocolate, I'm a big fan of Ghirardelli chocolates - I love them for baking (and the leftover chips are always a welcome treat:thumbsup:)
