I have not been online for a few days and popped in to catch up on all the posts and it occurred to me how slowly over time I have gotten to know you all. Each post made reveals something more about the poster, like a puzzle put together of anothers life. Just a random thought.

We've gotten some rain here, although I think we're still a bit dry. Been putzing around. Almost the whole day to myself and didn't spend any good time reading God's Word or even a good book. Did a load of bed linens and put them away. Still have a comforter and blanket to wash. Plus regular stuff.
My boys' comforters are wearing out. If i could sew, I'd just try to mend them. FFamily Dollar has twin size for $20, but I heard Big Lots has them even cheaper. big lots isn't on my scooter path; I don't get there often.

I like Big Lots..its fun to look around in there...and you can get some really good deals...they even carry allot of food really cheap.

he could have an ear issue throwing off his balance...

He going to the family doctor tomorrow. I'll remind him to get his ears checked. He has no leg artery in one leg at all. He shuffles his feet. a
physical therapist from church said he may need rehab again. I'm thinking that might help. Work on his walking, maybe.

I hope you are all having a good morning.
I thought I would jump online quickly and see how everyone was today.
Anyone have any interesting plans for today? My plans are to clip coupons, do laundry, and straighten up before the kids come home from to mess up again. I would rather be walking around a flea market or antique shop.

Hi NJ. I'm doing laundry and general cleaning today. I have had company for a few days so I am behind in everything. I like flea markets and antique shops too, I also like garage and yard sales but I have had to limit my wonderings lately because I buy stuff I have no need or room for. I just get carried away! Well I had a dental appt today...so at least when I have my scan they won't pick up tartar...aha..it was my usual cleaning time...lol
My heart is so heavy with the Rita thing right on top of katrina...;o/

Wish you were here Keep. The flea mkts and antique stores are constantly calling my name. My sister is here visiting and we went yesterday. I saw so many things that were bargains, old furniture in very good shape and at very good prices. One store we went into was just packed with things. I know there were many treasures in that place but you would have to dig for them. We finally left after a few minutes since it was a very hot day and only fans in the place. Like you, I don't have room for more. I would have to swap out things with what I already have. But I love to find new things from time to time.
