Wahoo!! awesome news!TreysNana said:Thanks for all the prayers, everyone. My mom misunderstood the plans for yesterday. It was to have just been initial consultations with the surgeons; fortunately (praise God!) they were able to go ahead and work my mom into the surgical schedule and performed the bronchoscopy. The surgeon didn't see a tumor (another praise God!); he feels that there's a 50-50 chance that it could be noncancerous. He took a biopsy of the suspicious tissue, but because the procedure was done so late in the day, they won't have the results back until tomorrow afternoon. They were thinking that my mom might even have to stay overnight for observation (given her frail condition and normal reaction to anesthetics, etc.), but she responded wonderfully (another praise God!) to the anesthetic & procedure, so she was released at 6:30. If y'all could pray that God would provide another opportunity for praise by the biopsy results to come back benign, I would really appreciate it. Thanks everyone!
Blessings to all!
Kathy
