Hello everyone! Just have a moment to say hello to you all and pass on this little ditty that someone sent me. Mis you all but the computer is still sick and time consuming to use. Mostly I am enjoying the new job. I think one girl is jealous because I got a better shift than her but she is only part time and I'm full time. Oh well, there's always something. :sigh:

Take care everyone and God bless!

That is so funny and I like the Old Irish Blessing at the end too.^_^

It reminded me of the time I sold some bricks to a couple. The bricks were in my front driveway and after they had loaded their truck she calls me on her cell phone to tell me they would be back for the rest later. My front door was only steps away and yet she used her cell phone and called me.:o ^_^
I don't know why it reminded me of that, I guess just the modern technology.

A bit late, but welcome, DianaC.

Hey to everybody else. Just stopped by before scooting off to the library. They close early today, too. So I really better make this short. I too am
thankful for fall; I hope it's a good while before we have to fire up the furnace, tho'. Our cost is supposed to go up 36 percent from last year.

Hello,
I just came back from that wedding I was telling about. It was one of those small weddings of many years ago. No bridesmades, no wedding planners, no limos, no bridezillas. Small church wedding, someone from church played the organ, someone sang some hymns. The brides dress was gorgeous, and it was custom nade. But she had it done in Bulgaria where she is from and it cost her so little. My son took the photos. Reception was held at friends house who had it catered. We bought the cakes, one white and one chocolate and some cookies. It was relaxed, happy, casual. Really nice.
I just made my tea and will do my needlepoint.
Good night.
Diana

Hi Scoot. :)

That sounds like a wonderful wedding, Dianac. Simple and to the point. I love it. I think folks who have simple weddings are the ones who have the strongest marriages. May parents had a small wedding. :)

You are right miggles. We somehow get convinced that you need this and that to get married. BTW, what is this with bridal registries? It seems, everybody has a registry. Everybody seems needs a registry. What is wrong with getting 3 toasters? Or few sets of knives? I still use mine. Or navy blue sheets (?!)
keeptrying, today was a cool and brilliant day. In the afternoon my husband and I cut down the impatients and emptied most of flower pots. I brought some geraniums (rose scented and angel wings) in the house. Hope they will do well indoors.
That is all for now,
Good night,
Diana

Miggs and Dianac I agree with your comments about weddings. It IS important that the bride and groom have a special day but it all seems to be so stressful now. I think enjoying your wedding is the most important thing and not be so concerned that everything is "perfect". I understand what you are saying about the registry. The last wedding I bought a gift for I felt like I was being told what to buy and frankly the gifts they had picked out in their registry were very expensive. I wish more people would put as much thought and caring into their marriages as they do their weddings and the divorce rate would sure go down.

Wow! I didn't know the threads could disappear! I will be praying for your appointment tomorrow. That is wonderful that your symptoms are improved. Maybe it is something very simple that has already been fixed!

May God be with you every step of the way. May you know His supernatural peace as you unrego tests, filling out paper work and waiting for the results. May God bless you and your doctor and the medical staff that treats you. May His will be done in your situation. And may you rejoice in these difficulties and through which may you know, again, that God is good, eternally.
Be well,
Diana

Miggles,
Oh, pansies! I hope they will do well. What color are yours? This year I did not plant them in the fall which I do every year. I plant them (in the big planters) in the spring. They look just glorious. By the end on June when they look sad, I take them out and hope to keep them alive. And each year it does not work. Hot July/August kills them. So, in the fall I plant new ones.

Good Morning Everybody!

I love pansies but then I love all flowers and I also could never keep them alive when the hot months came, they just don't like the heat. The good news is that although they are considered an annual they will many times come back the next year just not as many like a perennial would. Of course mine always came back in places I did not want them.^_^

TJ, I'm sorry you are still having tests ran and they have not found the problem but glad it is improving on its own. I will keep you in my prayers. I don't why your thread would have been removed:scratch: did we all get wild and crazy on it and I missed it?? :D

Everyone have a great day:)
P.S. We bought a new house and today is the walk-thru then we close on the 25th. Please pray we have a safe and uneventful move.

That is so nice. So, did you have your anniversary yet?

Yes, August 31.

Unfortunately, my hyusband is in very poor health and will be going into a nursing home soon, at least for a while. The past 5 years have been extremely rough
