ScooterMom,
I am so sorry to hear that he will have to go to a nursing home. I keep hoping that can be avoided. I guess if they are saying it will be for a while, perhaps they think he will be able to return home later. Do they have some treatments in mind to try? I'm praying.

ok..heres the scoop.
Saw neuro...bottomline...he found nothing wrong..;o) in many possible health related areas. He said sometimes we just don't know why ones body starts creating some health issues only to have ones body start to heal it self. He did say prolonged extreme stress can cause many issues..I am very high stress and have been for some yrs...but slowly making changes in my life to lessen stress and doing relax related things. I also have back disc issues which can effect lots of things and I do see a very good chiro.
So...
1. I say God has been healing me b/c of lots of prayer and I am making healthy life changes.
So...he said to continue doing all the good things I am now doing...and wait things out and see if my body continues to heal itself...as my eyes are still acting up some..but much much improved...and come back for a follow up in a couple of months...and we will see how things are from there.
I have to take one blood test which I will do tomorrow and he really doesn't think anything will be found...but just to be sure..he is having me tested for one thing.
So now I breathe and praise God..move forward. I have a job interview tomorrow......;o)

This is such great news!!!!! I'm so glad for you! We certainly serve a great and caring God! How wonderful that nothing was found wrong, but we know that if there had been, the Lord would have guided you step by step. The Lord is so great!:amen:

Well, this is reason to rejoice and thank God who does hear our prayers. I think I will put the little dancing figure out now because my heart is dancing for Theresa.

Blessings from birdie...

Great news TJ! :amen:

I know what y'all mean, Dianac and Keep. Pansies just don't like the heat. I planted all different color pansies this year. Last year I just planted one color -- purple and white.

I planted some trees today. They are little teensy trees now but they will grow really big. My mother ordered them from the Arbor Society. They were free.

Miggles, Oh you reminded me. 20 years ago I also got 10 free trees from the Arbor Society. Only 2 survived. They are the most wonderful blue spruce. One that gets much sun is at least 5 feet tall. Another one I planted in one of my flower beds that is in the shade. That one is 3 feet tall.
Maybe this weekend I will buy some pansies. We still have at least 1-2 months before the frost. This weekend my husband might take me applepicking. He says, why can't we just buy them? But he knows how much fun it is to pick them. And after that the problem is what to do with all those apples. 2 weeks ago my husband brought home a box of apples. After giving away some and baking, I still have alot left. Last night for the Bible Study at our house I made some pancakes and homemade apples sauce. The whole thing was gone. I am so happy that many of apples got used up.
Take care,
Diana

Scootermom, Still praying for you and your husband. What is the update?

I had better got offline and get busy. I am trying to pack everything that I don't need so there is not too much to pack at the last minute. Thankfully I never unpacked everything from the last move. It is still in boxes because I knew we would not be here long. Everybody have a blessed day.

P.S. Good luck with the trees Miggles. How can I get some? My new house has no trees.

Thanks for the encouraement Dianac. Blessing to you.

That's neat Dianac. Do you have an apple tree? I have a lemon tree but it's in a pot. I planted it from a seed out of a lemon. No lemons yet. It's only a foot and a half high. I wish it didn't take so long for the trees to bear fruit and bloom.

We got 10 trees from the Arbor Society and 7 survived. I really didn't want the trees in the first place beause we have trees galore in the yard. I didn't know where to plant them. But I found some spots that they might be happy.

Keep, you can get trees almost anywhere. The Arbor Society sends folks baby trees in a plastic sack with water in it. You have to plant them as soon as you get them.

No apple tree. I have sour cherry, pear and german peach trees. And fig trees. Squirrels eat most of my harvet. But I do manage to get much figs and make preserve with them. Last year all my fig trees froze, so this year I had vey few figs. I would like to have a lemon tree, but I do not think it will grow in our area. Maybe indeed if I grow it in the pot, I can bring it indoor in the winter?

Letting everyone know about prayers answered...
my job interview went well...I had put out a couple of fleeces b/f God about it
b/c my deisre was for His will not mine, and I needed the fleeces to prayerfully see His will...confirm His will for me...
1. was that if His will was for me not to have the job the door would shut..
2. that if the job was offered to me I would know it was His will by a couple of things...the part time work hours..and I had an approximate pay in mind.
That if the job was offered but work hours weren't quite right or pay within what I had in mind.. then that was a sign to me not to accept the job.
Well everything fell into place...I got the job!!!...great part time hours and getting paid within the wages that I thought fair and reasonable..
So I am back working in the daycare system with infants..I'm gonna be a rocking gramma...hehe..and get paid for it.
I call her tomorow to firm things up and then I start next Monday...
Truthfully..would rather not work...but finances dictate otherwise...such is life...lol

oh, Theresa, what wonderful news about your health; also about the job.

Thanks, everyone for the words and prayers. Don is having a good day. Most days, the pain and his response to it make life very stressful for me and the boys. Can't depend on him at all because his moods swing so much, the combination of chronic pain and mental illness makes it difficult. I don't drive my son doesn't have his liscense, but as I'm working to find alternative transportation...having him home is easier. His concentration span has declined and driving much isn't safe. Plus, if he's grumpy, I can just leave him be.

I just wanted to stop in real fast and say hello.
It has been a long week. I have been praying for you all.
Our oldest daughter came home for a visit on Wednesday. She is single and her 2 days off fell in the middle of the week so she wanted to visit her old mom and day and her brother and sisters too! It was nice having her here. She has been talking alot with our other daughter who as you know is having marriage problems(nothing has changed :( ).
The weather here has been cooler and last week we had the flooding. It's suppose to rain again this weekend. Just keep reminding myself rain is good, rain IS good!!! :)
I'll try to stop by later and check on you all.
Have a great day.
Take care and God Bless
Lynn
