Hello Everyone,

I see that some are still in need of prayer, so that's what I'll do. Brother Dave, I'm sorry you're going through so much as you wait for your surgery. You and others will be in my prayers. I look forward to hearing much good news in the near future. In the meantime, may God watch over all of us according to His Perfect Will.

I just love hearing that you will be in prayer for so many of us...makes me feel warm and snuggly....LOL...and Lord, Tom also has his own personal needs, for strength and joy and wisdom in all areas of his life...you have made him to be a blessing to us. Thank You Lord.

Thanks Dave, I isolated the moon from a pic I took in Paso last year, got the black cat for free from the web...the blue background is a blend of my photos and a color layer.

Yesterday I wasn't feeling 100% as I prepared to do errands.... so I did chores, got a walk in, and did some cooking.
Later I felt good enough to run out for propane for the grill, and get fresh eggs from a friend

Well, I am off to buy food....
I'll be making home made split pea soup for supper, with the ham hock left over from Easter

Here is a representative description

Mary's Tuna Sandwich Filling is,

Tuna that has been 'forked' to flakes
Sweetcorn is added
and then sufficient Mayonaise ~to coat and bind [all, well-mixed]

Mary has a bread bun cut open and buttered on the bottom half
which is then spread with english mustard [about a teaspoonsful]
prior to adding the filling [about one inch thick]

So, we put sweet corn into this sandwich and use mustard....guess I might try this combination sometime.

I have been pretty busy today...Gracie got her shot at the vet's office for her leg...this shot is to prevent arthritus from settling in the injured knee, we may do this quite a while longer it seems.

Then I took her to the park for an hour; she just goes crazy with joy to be able to run on the extension lead.

We went out to dinner, hubby was home early so we drive avout 1/2 hour each way for the restaurant we used this time.

I rearranged the furniture a bit in my office...hope to clean floors tomorrow as we are expecting another, bigger rain storm to move in tonight, the sky is full of clouds now...I love it.


Good night Eagles...some are getting up, some are going to bed...hugs for all.

I love love love the avon job and the other job is still changing.... new boss this week. strange hours.. new boss is nice I think. I have spent time on my knees cleaning floors today... Now for sitting on my (you know what) for a while. The ground is wet, but not much rain has fallen, at least not in my part of California.

This photo is a couple years old...taken at Moonstone Beach, Ca. My grandson Grant is just to the right of the lady in the blue shirt. We were enjoying the tidal pools that day.

I did a few light chores today,took a short walk, and then rested.
My head has been hurting since 5am; most likely from the ham in my pea soup &/or allergies.

A neighbor showed up with a shih tzu she found in her yard; she thought it was Penny.
I can't bear to think about my 'baby' wandering the streets alone with the bears, coyotes, foxes etc etc here....never mind the cars on these winding roads
She is tagged and micro-chipped; but you can never know if someone will opt to keep a dog or sell it etc.
Hopefully she finds the owner...I didn't recognize the dog 100%, but had a hunch about a house near hers.

I cannot digest pea soup even tho I love the taste. I eat very little ham...it contains nitrates, I can see why it might have bothered you.

Yeah I just have a bit of ham once a year because of the sodium and nitites

Given how my head feels, it seems the extremely high pollen is at fault.
My usual preventative measures are not holding up 100%.
I will survive

Hubby has a long weekend with the Holiday Monday ~ that will be nice, as I have missed him

I love my ham

I have it 'cured' ...not boiled in salt-water / or, honey-roasted

The cured breaded version, seems to taste best

I understand that it is additives that gives people problems

It is a gorgeous day here; Penny and I just got back from a long walk.
Hubby went to see our oldest grandson play his first baseball game.
We will go to Church later this afternoon, and then will treat ourselves to a lovely dinner out.
