It is his wife's birthday.... My health issues had 'thrown' Mary

Welcome back
The heat here (94 ) has slowed us down to a crawl; not much happening this afternoon.
Even poor Penny is down and out...unusual for her!
Too much heat, too soon

I know, that you guys experience LOTS of it
and that therefore.... it can become, a little too-much

But truly said, we could REALLY ENJOY a couple of weeks of such sunshiney temp's

We won't be breaking out the AC yet.
It will be cooling again, and we could see frost/ snow through May.

It just came in so fast; thankfully it isn't very humid!

Last year I actually lived without an ac in my room; the first time in years!
I loved having the fresh air and hearing the wild night sounds (only 1 window in that room).

There is an ac in the other bedroom if needed, and I do have one I can pop in if I change my mind.

Thankfully we got our walk in before lunch, when it was cooler

My crown on a back molar just cracked 'again'
Not sure how many times the doc can file it down; it is old and keeps fracturing.
Of course we have no dental insurance, so he is trying to help me get by
I will call tomorrow for it to be checked.
Never a dull moment

We have insurance for dental and I can see the crowns cost at least $800.00 these days...
I have had many replaced through the years...and latley I get decay under the crown.

Those are nice little visits dave...

My goodness it is hot where you are Gail...they think we might see 90 degrees at the end of this week... I will keep Gracie inside as usual, the heat bothers her too...I walked her early today and she still got a little warm...will go to our regular park tomorrow, there is deeper grass and more shade there.

There is a nice wind off the lake, cooling us down a bit now.
Tomorrow will be @ 80, then it will cool to the 60's the rest of the week, with a heavy rain storm forecast for the weekend (much needed)

Wow! - This sounds hot for New England - more like temperatures we would expect here in Oklahoma. I remember many years that got up to 110 here and a couple that actually made it to 120. I guarantee you that 120 is HOT!

Yeah we get the occasional heat waves here with temps @ 90, but never this hot in April!

Hi guys, I needed a nap today... But I have been up very early for several days and do not always sleep well at night; That is my excuse, plus my pain level has been high, think pain wears me down some.

I took Gracie for a walk earlier, then gave her a bath, need to recomb her hair and she will be perfect as usual...LOL.
