Hello Brother Dave and All,

First, I'm happy to hear about your improvements Brother Dave, but I'm sorry you're having to put up with computer problems at the same time. You will remain in my prayers.

Those with family difficulties will also be in my prayers. I hope that I give thanks often enough for smooth and loving family relationships in my own family. I will be praying for peace and healing for relationships.

Mary got-up and made me a coffee at 5.30am ...
in an attempt to make me comfortable [?]
and I did manage to get a couple more hours of sleep , afterwards

Gracie goes to the vet this morning for her yearly shots...she always "cries"...and I am the only one sitting in the waiting room with a dog wrapped around her neck. That is where she hides...around my neck till the shots are over.

Poor puppy ~ so hard for them to understand!
Hope all went well

Hubby's asthma has eased some.....
Today he went for his echocardiogram of his heart.
He has aortic stenosis and they are checking for changes in the aortic valve.
Thankfully he has no symptoms; it was 6 years since the last check.
We won't get results on that until next week.

Tomorrow he will have his blood work done (annual exam screenings).

We had a lovely lunch out after the echo, and are relaxing now after the busy/early morning.
We have Church tonight if the storms aren't too severe when it is time to go.

The aorta is the main artery carrying blood out of the heart. When blood leaves the heart, it flows through the aortic valve, into the aorta. In aortic stenosis, the aortic valve does not open fully. This decreases blood flow from the heart.

Gracie was extremely stressed this time...we had to wait about 20 minutes and she shook the whole time...then she got 3 "sticks".

We tried to have the assistant hold her...but she cried so loudly, I took her (a I usually do) to hold her steady...my, it was drama for a minute there...she did not bite anyone, even tho she was very scared...

She weighs 7 lbs 2oz.

We have been home for a while, just being together...no walk today, it is hot and she had those shots.

I used to get some kind of heart palpitation related to the valves...don't know if there was a name for it...it has not bothered me in a long time; but when it goes off, I know it.

Thanks for the info this is NOT a new condition for him.
More specifically his condition is Bicuspid Aortic Valve Stenosis.
All is well ~ he is in God's Hands

Thank you Amadeus...my Gracie came into my life last year...a totally unexpectedly...she has been quite a blessing for me at this time in life.

Stopping in to say hello
It has been a busy day with chores and errands.
I am grateful for the energy, because our sleep has been interrupted often with hubby's asthma the past week (though it is easing some).
We went for a walk this morning (The weather is awesome), and I may go out again for a short walk before cooking supper.
We enjoy being out, and would benefit by step by increasing our exercise a bit
